Beloved Daughter of the late Epiha Kete and Toria Kawhe O’Brien. Beloved partner to the late Michael Fraser Kaupoai Tupu Wahitapu. Much love sister of the late Hutukawa (aka Poppy) and Te Pare Joseph, the late Jack and Avis Kete, the late George and Mona Kete, Doreen (aka Nini) and the late Ron Archer, the late Jimmy and Sonny Kete, the late Dick and Anna, the late Rangi James Kete, the late Molly Kawhe and Ray Leigh, Barney and the late Bubby Kete and Wewetahapua (aka Maki) and Dave O’Mullane. Much loved sister of Olga and the late Georgie, Jackie, Lorna, Paddy and Rangi Waamu. Also beloved Mother, Nana, mother-in-law, Aunty, sister-in-law and friend to so many. You touched the hearts of all who knew you and you will be missed dearly by all of us.
Mum will be laying in state at Te Korapatu Marae until Friday 10.03.2023. Service will be held at 11.00am. Then we will be taking our mum/nana to her final resting place with our dad/koro Michael at Ototoika urupa in Oparure. Then followed by Kaihakari back at Te Korapatu Marae.
