BACON, William Stewart (Bill)
On March 6, 2023, suddenly, at Archer Village, aged 70 years. Loved elder son of Katie and Ivan Bacon. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Penny and Alan Crosby, Roger Bacon, and Margie and Nick Maeder. Loved uncle of Emma Parkes, Louisa Crosby, and Jonathan Crosby. Also, a loved great-uncle. Special thanks to the staff and carers at Pkeko Blue, Braithwaite St and Coull St, for their care over the past 11 years. Thanks also to the staff at Archer Village for their care during William’s last four days. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late William Bacon, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch. The memorial service for William will be held at Hope Chapel, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, on Saturday, March 11 at 2.00pm.
