On February 26, 2023 at Nazareth House, Christchurch, supported by her Mercy community, family and staff. Dearly loved member of Nga Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand in the 69th year of her religious profession, aged 88 years. Dearly loved daughter of Tessa and Paddy, much loved sister and sister-in-law of Maureen and Bill Kennedy, Patrick and Iris, Noel and Joyce, Teresa and Ray Phelan, John and Patricia, James, and Clare and Darcy Lucas (all deceased); much loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to staff of Nazareth House and Mercy carers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, on Thursday, March 2, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Waimairi Cemetery, Grahams Road. Vigil prayers at Te Manawa Atawhai Catherine McAuley Centre, 21 Peer Street, on Wednesday, March 1, at 7.00pm. Livestream link
