of East Chatton. Called home to his Saviour, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous journey on Friday, February 24, 2023, aged 75 years. Much loved husband and faithful friend of *Heather (nee Warner) and Jessica, treasured Dad of *Simon, Jaimee and Jamin Lietze, *Benjamin, Hannah, Laura and Devin De Groot, Joseph, Juliana and Kabelo Nkoana, Heidi and Sam Hadfield, Nadia Copland and Neil Follett; devoted and fun loving Grandad of Noah, Micah, Ruby, and Jasper Lietze; Karli De Groot, Eva Nkoana; Lucas, Riley, Sophia, and Alecia Hadfield; Hazel, Ida, and Hugh Follett. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in Gore Baptist Church, 23 Ardwick Street, Gore on Friday, March 3, at 1.30pm, followed by a cuppa before leaving for the interment at Gore Cemetery.
