RISELEY, Albert Ernest (Bert)

Passed away into God’s loving care at Nazareth House on Friday, February 17, 2023, aged 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Doreen (nee Couling). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Alison and Ian Clark (Canada), Philip and Gill (Australia), Janet and David Lockyer, Gillian and Mark van Voorthuizen, Martin and Rachel. Loved grandfather of Andrew, Miranda; Carl, Anthony; Anna, Matthew, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Miriam; Emma and Isabelle. Great-grandfather of Olivia, Sophia, Isaac, Harriet, Sebastian, Micah, and Edward. Loved brother of Ralph (Cambridge), Daphne Brooks (Blenheim), and the late Brian. Best friend and companion of the late Joyce Fleming. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bert’s life will be held at St Michael and All Angels Church, 95/99 Oxford Terrace, Central Christchurch, on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11.00am.
