BURR, Norma Dawn (Risbridge)

Died peacefully at the age of 88 years at Wilson Carlile Rest Home on 18 February 2023. Our hearts are broken but we are strong because she loved us so much. Wife and intrepid travel mate of Harold (HJ) for 70 years. Much loved Mum and ‘Mitha’ to many, especially John & Martina, Raymond (deceased), Murray & Kris, Sharryn & Helen, Dianne & Keith, Erin & Jack; Grandma to Katrina & Paul, Melanie & Vaughan, Trent (deceased), John Matthew (deceased), Lara, Jack, Garreth & Kait, & Rhys; Grosmoite to Caitlyn, Natalie & Cooper.
Mum now rests in peace with God after living a long and wonderful life.
Thanks to the staff of Wilson Carlile for their special care of Mum over the last 5 years. You are welcome to celebrate Norma’s life with us on Monday 27th February at 1.30pm at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Grey Street, Hamilton East. In memory of Norma donations to the Fred Hollows Trust or St Johns would be appreciated and may be left online or at the Church.
