PORTERFIELD, Marie Annette (nee Gamblin)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved Marie, who passed away at home on February 17, 2023, aged 70 years. Daughter of the late Vera and Bill, sister and sister-in-law of Myra and Richard, Patricia, Richard, John and Margaret, Judith, Gary (deceased), Heather, and the late Steven, Wayne, and Graham and a loved aunt to all her nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Marie’s caregiver Margaret Gempton (Our Angel). For those attending, a colourful flower to be placed on Marie’s casket would be appreciated. A Celebration of Marie’s life will be held at South West Baptist Church, 244 Lyttelton Street, Spreydon, on Friday, February 24, at 11.00am, with a private cremation to follow.
