FREW, Mervyn Norman

It is with deep sadness Mervyn died tragically on Monday, Febuary 20, 2023, aged 78 years young. Deeply loved husband and best friend of Marie. Mervyn was the most devoted, charismatic, loyal Dad to Kris, Brett and Leticia, Dan and Steph. And the centre of his families world. Much loved and adored Pop to Asher, and Ryder; Luiza, and Emily; Charlee, Lexie, and Harriet. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Stewart Frew, Margaret Barron, John and Lynn Frew and the wider Russell family and all of Mervyn’s nieces and nephews. Mervyn will be deeply missed by his many friends. A great mate and genuine legend, taken too soon. A service to celebrate Mervyn’s life will be held at 1.30pm, Saturday, February 25 at J Fraser and Son’s Chapel corner of Esk and Doon Street, Invercargill. Followed by a private cremation.
