On Monday, February 13, 2023, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Christchurch Hospital, aged 55 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Kathryn (Kathy) Caughey. Treasured stepfather and stepfather-in-law of Kate and Lei’ataua Limuloa, Mitchell and Nicole Shaw, Arna and Alex Morton. Adored Grandpa of Nukumovaha’i, Tavatualau, Amelius, Ella, Willow, and Sophie. Much loved son and son-in-law of John and the late Jill Caughey, and Ailsa Lindsay. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Andrew and Alison Caughey, Philippa and Neil Gardyne, and Brenda Davey. Loved uncle of Hamish and Struan Caughey, Mark, Ethan and Esther Gardyne, Nicole and Stephanie Davey.
