Shane passed away peacefully at the St Andrew’s Hospital Brisbane aged 56, with his loving mother and loved wife at his side. Eldest and loved son of Trish and the late Stewart Gutschlag (Gore). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Richard and Rachael Gutschlag (Gore), and Michele and Francis Bastiaansen (Alexandra). Much loved uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many. Loved husband of Katrina Gutschlag and Step-Dad of Bri and Maddy, Gladstone Australia. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 24, at 1.00pm, Port Curtis Cemetery, Gladstone, Australia. A delayed video coverage of the service will be available through a link on gladstonevalleyfunerals.com.au. A service to celebrate Shane’s life will be held in Gore NZ at a later date.
