MUNDELL, Esme (formerly Alston)
Esme passed away peacefully on Thursday, 16th February 2023 at Chalmers Rest Home, surrounded by those who loved and cared for her, aged 97 years. Loved wife of the late Ron Mundell and formerly the late Norman Alston; treasured mother of Maggie, Suzee and Jane, mother-in-law of Paul and Eddie; grandmother of Emerald, Tahra, Jeremy and Skye, David and Kate, Patrick and Val, and Myra; great-grandmother to Finn, Molly, Tova, Hollie, Sonny and Beau. Special thanks go to Chalmers Rest Home for going the extra mile for Esme. All messages to S Freeman, 49 Jans Tce, Oakura, Taranaki. A service for Esme will be held at St James Presbyterian Church, Lawry Street, Moturoa on Tuesday, 21st February 2023 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.
