NEWSAM, Margaret Don
Granny Don, 98, died peacefully in her bed at Te Hopai Hospital, Wellington, on February 16, 2023. A very fine Mum to Garry, Rory and Rhona, she was an equally impressive "GD" to Angus, Patrick, Finn, Tara and Abby - along with Lan, Anna, Liz and Royce. Don was also a proud "Great GD" to Olive, Henry and Izzie. A huge thanks to all the Enliven, Waiapu and Te Hopai staff for their care and support in recent years. A private family cremation next week will be followed later this year by a celebration in Hawkes Bay of Don’s rich Northern Irish spirit. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Hopai Hospital are welcomed.
