SWNEY, Olive Merle
Merle and Gray are now separated after 73 years of marriage as Merle passed peacefully away at the Te Aroha Community Hospital on 13th February 2023, aged 96. Merle was so greatly loved by her family; husband Gray, children, Christine and Tony, John and Delia, Michael and Raewyn, and the grandchildren, Sally, Scott, Toni, Katie and the late Brad and Jane and Megan. The family wish to give our most grateful thanks to the staff at Lawrence House and the Te Aroha Community Hospital who have given Merle and Gray all the love and care and went beyond their duties in doing so.
No longer by our sides but forever in our hearts, go well our special lady.
Merle’s service is to be held at the St David’s Church, 32 Church Street, Te Aroha, on Friday 17th February at 2.00pm. All messages to the family C/- Broadway Funeral Home, 10 Short St, Matamata.
