SMITH, Norma (née Mackay)

Aged 86 years. Paul, Joanne and family would like to announce the peaceful passing of their darling Mum, Norma, on Monday, 13th February 2023. Cherished youngest daughter of the late Jean and Bill Mackay. Much loved baby sister of the late Chrissy Mackay. Loving wife to the late Arthur Smith. Super Hero Mum to Chrissy (the late), Paul (the ugly) and Jo (the lovely). The best Granny/Nanny ever to Jason, Amanda and Brianna. Fearless mother-in-law to Cath, Steve and Jono. Loved by all of her extended family and friends. Whilst heartbroken, we are truly thankful that Mum is now at peace. Dad (Arthur) will be delighted to once again jive with the love of his life; and Chrissy will relish in the comfort of being in her Mum’s embrace again. The service to honour Norma will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, 18 Bassett Road, Johnsonville, on Thursday, 16th February at 2.30pm. Thereafter, you are welcome to join us for a “cuppa and cake”. A private family cremation will follow.
