Born 12 December 1952. Passed away 9 February 2023. Much loved and respected Iwi leader, husband, father, nana, uncle and father-in-law, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by whnau. Russell’s Tangihanga will be held at Raungaiti Marae till Monday. A service will be held at 11.00am on Monday 13 February followed by the nehu at Te Tapiri Urupa in Waharoa.
