GLEADOW, Bernice
Died in Auckland on 30 January 2023. Bernice Dora Currie, daughter of Duncan and Dora, was born at Lower Hutt on 12 November 1936, grew up in Khandallah and attended Wellington Girls College. Married Lawrence Gleadow in 1957 and moved to Paeroa where they raised their three children. Later retired back to Khandallah in Wellington. Loved mother and mother-in-law of John Gleadow and Michelle Scott, Peter Gleadow and Andrea Lynch, and Susan and Paul Garrett, Nanna to Adelaide, Jack, Meg, Kate and Ellen Gleadow, and Samuel and Amy Garrett. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Jean and the late Jim Currie. A private family cremation has been held. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date in Wellington.
