It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Alfred Robert Johnson who died at Nelson Hospice on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Dearly loved husband of Lorna Hobson. Loved father to Carl (Ruakaka), Peter (Philippines) and Paul (Wellington). Respected father-in-law to Janice, Hanne and Lisa. Loving grandad to Christopher Johnson (Wellington) and Hannah and her husband Jamahl Webster (Auckland). Loved stepdad to Elliot Botham (Brisbane) and his wife Amanda. Loved grandad to Etta, Silas, and Brendan. And loved great-granddad to Kyah and Max. Respected brother-in-law to Vivienne and Charlie Stewart (Tauranga) and Bill Hobson (deceased) and his wife Annette (Australia). A trusted friend and business colleague to many locally and around the world. The family thank the wonderful Nelson Hospice for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers the family ask that friends of Peter make a donation to the Hospice in his honour. Also, a big thank you to Nelson Hospital and the St Johns Ambulance Service.
