Of Lower Hutt, born 21 February 1933. Peacefully left this world at Carter House Lifecare & Village in Te Puke on 1 February 2023. Beloved wife of the late Gustav (Gus) John Schafer, and now they are together again. Loved mum to Joy, Helen and Maddy, and we are grateful. Loved Aunty to Mary-Anne and Rhyn (children of late brother John Gabriel) and Alison, Claire, Philip and Michael (children of late brother William (Bill) Gabriel).
