Passed away peacefully at Elloughton Gardens on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Lewis O’Brien. Loved daughter of the late Florence and Frank Egan (Invercargill). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Vicki, Mark and Michelle, Andrena and Malcolm, and Richard. Cherished nana of Andrew, Daniel and Rosie, Hamish and Bonnie, Sameer and Ziyad and a great-nana of Harrison. Thanks to the amazing staff at Elloughton Gardens for taking great care of Betty during her short journey. A service for Betty will be held in St Thomas’ Church, 12 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
