ALLAN, Leslie Charles

Died peacefully and swiftly January 29, 2023 at Katikati, aged 95. Les felt very privileged to have been married to two loving, intelligent and practical women Margaret Mitchell, and Helen Stevenson Croucher (nee Dunlop), a valued brother-in-law to Jude Dunlop. Les was a cherished father and step-father of Graham Allan, Chrissie Williams, Chrissie and Rick Haslet, Catherine and Patrick Fotheringham, Alistair and Deborah Allan, Steven and Heather Croucher, Tim and Tracy Croucher. Grandfather of Harry and Mandy Croucher, the late Ben Allan, Louis and Alix Croucher, Rachel Allan, Jackson and Ayesha Croucher, Elliot Allan, Hayes and Jaime Croucher, Jacob Allan, and Sam Croucher. Great-grandfather to Mackie, Coen and Hadley, Roscoe and Evie, Daisy and Cora. The family wish to acknowledge and thank the St Peter’s Church community, Vision West, and Waipuna Hospice for their stellar support. In lieu of flowers a donation to any of these organisations would be most welcome. A service to celebrate Les’ life will be held at St Peter’s Church, Katikati, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 1.00pm.
