On Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Soulmate and husband of Beverley, Dad of his family in the USA, Rosemarie and Ed Rogers, Patricia and Toby Netko, and Timothy Obst and Peggy Blank, Opa of Doug, Andy and Chad Blazek. Loved and respected step-dad of Brian Perrie and Tanya Jephson (NZ), Opa of Morgan and Frankie (NZ), and a loving great-granddad. Heartful thanks to doctors, nurses and social workers, and all staff at Christchurch Hospital who tended his care with compassion and a feeling of love. No flowers, by request, but donations to Ferrymead Printing Society to purchase a memorial bench seat for the park would be appreciated. Funeral will be held at Ferrymead Heritage Park in the Chapel, 50 Ferrymead Park Drive, Christchurch, on Monday, January 30 at 1.30pm.
