Unexpectedly but peacefully in Invercargill. Devoted and much loved husband of the late Edna. Wonderful father, father-in-law and mentor of Dianne and Murray, Yvonne and Peter. Loved and respected grandfather of Tim, Sally (Mount Maunganui), Bell, Viv (Christchurch), Olivia, Luke (Christchurch), Charlotte, Matt (Brisbane), and a loved great-grandfather of Lily, Olly, Niko, Marcus, Zach, and Lachie. Adored foster-father of June Chamberlain (Sydney). Loved big brother of Ken and Judy (Arrowtown) and Flora and Bruce Kernohan (Hikurangi). Loved and respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Special big-brother and friend of John and Arieta Kerr and their family
