Died a year ago today (November 8, 2021), four hours before her 93rd birthday.
Gone from our sight,
but not from our hearts.
Due to Covid lockdowns and travel restrictions at that time, family and friends could not join together to celebrate her life until now. Loved only child of William and Mable McTier. Wife and companion of the late Allan Ellis. Mother of Gavin and Susanne (Singapore), and Glenda and Peter (Timaru), Grandmother of Fiona and Louis (Auckland), Adam (Singapore), Great-grandmother of Alex and Libbie (Auckland). A Memorial Service will be held for Shona at Betts Lounge, 33 North Street, at 2.00pm, on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
