SNYDERS, Jacob (Jack)

Died peacefully at home surrounded by family in Raumati on Saturday 12 June 2021, after a long illness. In his 90th year, he has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. Dearly loved husband of Bastiana (Bev). Loving father and father-in-law of Jane (dec), Michael & Ros, Peter & Julienne, Robyn & Bill (USA). Loving Opa to Philip & Alice, David & Gypsy, Christopher & Angelina, Stephanie, Sarah & Benson (AUS), Nicole & Joe (Fiji), Travis & Robyn (CAN), Sarah & Philip (TZA), Jennifer, and Siobhan. Loving Great-Opa to Hugo, Freya, Mckenzie, Jordan & Tiana (AUS), Lucy (CAN), Rowan (TZA). Thanks to Dr Tim Smit and nurses, especially Liffet for looking after Jack for many years. Many thanks to all of the staff at Mary Potter Hospice and district nurses for their wonderful care of Jack in his last days. Special thanks to David. Thanks to our family in the Netherlands and our extended family in NZ, our church family, table tennis club, snooker club, our friends, neighbours and Coastal Villas staff for their love and care. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Kapiti Uniting Parish Raumati Church, 10 Weka Road, Raumati Beach, on Thursday 17 June 2021, at 10.30am, followed by interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
