Returning Items to Mitre 10
Happy New Year Everyone! Thought you might be interested in our experience.....We were bought a gift for Christmas, but we already had the same item. Obviously, we couldn't ask for the receipt as this was a present, so we went to Mitre 10, explained our dilemma and was refused point blank, any help. This item was $25., so quite a lot of money to 'loose'. No receipt/No refund/No bending the rules. It will be interesting to see if the Manager's Manager does phone us back..... We've been in this situation before with Bunnings and K Mart. Their Customer Service was exceptional (Australian companies, perhaps more flexible?) Needless to say, despite being previously good customers of Mitre 10, we will never be going there to shop again. Just a simple heads up, if you find yourself in the same position.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
