Traffic delays possible on SH12 for the next month
The delivery of the 30 beams for Bridge No.2 over the Matakohe River, on SH12 commences today.
Typically one beam per day will be delivered. The transporter will depart Ranui, Auckland ahead of morning peak traffic and traffic dependent, is expected to arrive to site between 6am and 8am.
There will be days when no beam is delivered and the time of day any given delivery arrives to site is subject to change.
Expect short delays in the vicinity of Hardies Bridge while the transporter reverses off the State Highway under traffic management (pilot vehicles and site traffic crew).
