Reporter Whangārei Leader

A warmer and wetter start to the year is on the cards for Northland, potentially bringing some much-needed relief for the region's farms. However, farmers aren't counting their chickens yet. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
