Need help with fallen trees or emergency 24/7 storm damage. Shoreside Trees are on call & available immediately.

Stu Huggins from Shoreside Trees & Gardens Ltd

Hi Neighbours,

Hope everyone is keeping safe in these Auckland stormy conditions.

Just wanted to let you all know that Shoreside Trees has emergency arborist tree crew teams available 24/7 if you have any fallen trees or hazardous and dangerous trees.

We cater to all markets – residential, commercial, lifestyle blocks or rural properties. There is no tree too small or too big that we cannot handle or not be willing to help you with.

All this wet weather saturates tree roots and these extremely strong winds can potentially cause failure to your trees which can cause damage to surrounding trees, landscaped and planted areas and to your property.

If you are worried about any of the trees on your property – please call Stu directly on 021 175 8660 or 0800 920 013 as he will be on the road quoting 24 /7 over these next few stormy days. If no response, please send a text as Stu clears the phone hourly.

Stay safe out there Neighbours.

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
