Missing cats
Hi there. We've had two very special breed (expensive) cats go missing from our Dairy Flat property over the past 15 months, and after talking to other locals I can't help but wonder if there's a not-so-innocent connection. I'm wanting to hear from anyone out there with similar experiences and suspicions in the hope that if we share information we may be able to fill in a bigger picture of possible sinister activity. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
