Looking for a home to rent!
Kia ora neighbours,
We are needing to move from our house in Stanmore Bay by the 9th of October to allow the owners to sell the property untenanted. We are locals looking for somewhere tidy for myself, my 13 year old and our two well-behaved cats. 2-3 bedrooms would be ideal and I can pay up to $550 per week. My parents live in Orewa and my son attends Orewa College. I work in Albany so it would be great to find somewhere close to school/parents for my son to be able to get to and fro easily. We have great references, keep a tidy home and are interested in a long term tenancy. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
