He thought she was inside but realised she wasn’t when he saw the older dog in the grass and went to look for the little one and couldn’t find anywhere. Everything happened in few minutes and we think someone must got her. She is on a medication and need to take it so I’m very worried. Please if anyone knows anything let me know. If you have never watched 4K TV before, the first time will stun you. I have included some photos, but they won't show the vividness and sharpness of a 4K LED Ultra High Definition TV on your computer. The colour and clarity is absolutely incredible! Talking to the TV with the smart remote is fun, too. For viewing and test driving the smart remote, arrange a time/date with Vern or Maureen on

I am selling this TV because of a mistake. Our old TV was a Sony that output sound to the TV speakers and the headphones at the same time. I assumed this Sony would do the same. Nope. It mutes the TV speakers if you use the head phones. My husband has a hearing loss. On the old set he used headphones to control his volume while I had the TV speakers at my level. On this set we tried routing the TV signal through a recorder to capture sound from the recorder, which would not affect the TV speakers. No joy there. I need another TV that outputs sound from TV speakers and the headphone jack at the same time. My mistake. Your good fortune.

Later this month we’ll be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Daffodil Day, the most important day in our fundraising calendar. A day that relies on the support of more than 11,000 volunteers.
Money raised goes towards support services, education and awareness programmes, and to fund vital research into the causes and treatments of all types of cancers.
Our 30th Daffodil Day is on Friday 28th August.
Please support the superhero volunteers in your neighborhood with a donation to the Cancer Society, donate online at daffodilday.org.nz or at your local ANZ branch.

To celebrate our very own rangers, we ran a Q&A on Instagram and Facebook stories to give you an opportunity to find out more about their important work.
In case you missed it, here are some of the interesting questions you asked them and our rangers' answers, hopefully giving you more insights into their universe.

These shelters have given our hardworking staff and our patients protection from the elements and were to be repurposed as part of our screening process when we open for urgent care matters on Monday.
We do thank all of the community for their support while we've operated over the last four months however if you have any information or saw anything please email us at admin@shorecare.co.nz .

The options for doing so are endless! Being kind doesn’t have to cost a thing, after all a smile is free. For those who want to go the extra mile, here’s some other ideas: Buy extra kai at the grocery store to donate to a food bank, build a free community library for your street, bring treats into work for colleagues, send an encouraging text to someone who needs it, let a car into the traffic ahead of you, take a gift over to new neighbours and introduce yourself, write positive messages in chalk on sidewalks around your neighbourhood, or surprise loved ones with a visit.
This month’s theme also coincides with Random Acts of Kindness Day (New Zealand) which is coming up on September 1st.
Let us know how you’re spreading kindness in your community by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:
