#ShesNotOverYet #CycloneCook

The Team from Waikato Region Emergency Management

Things are looking up for the Coromandel Peninsula - but the Thames coast road remains closed and is expected to stay that way throughout Easter. The eastern seaboard between Onemana and Whangamata is still dodgy with heavy weather expected overnight. People are advised to still stay away from the peninsula till the situation is re-assessed.
If you've self evacuated or have stayed home, we need to you stay put until further notice. #ShesNotOverYet #CycloneCook
