Volunteers Wanted!

Jasmine from Addington

Dementia Canterbury is looking for some amazing volunteers to support our community-based activity groups! Many people with dementia lose their driver's licence and are unable to access other modes of transport, leading to increased social isolation. Our transport volunteers support them to get back into the community doing the things they love (groups include Art, Museum tour, DIY, gardening, swimming, walking and more!) through providing transport to and from these groups. If you have a few weekday hours free each week, fortnight, or month and your full licence we'd love to hear from you! Contact Jasmine on 03 379 2590 ext. 215 or jasmine@dementiacanterbury.org.nz to find out more.

Response to regifting presents

Gordon from Halswell

My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
