Stray cat - Is it yours? Cat needs help.
Missing your cat? We have a new visitor in our home garden. The cat seems to have gotten into a fight, has lost its right eye. Tried to pick it up to take it to SPCA to take care of it, but runs away. It seems tired, and sick. Please see the picture. Hope it can go home and be helped. We are not cat people, so not very skilled at picking up stray cats. Help appreciated.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
