Mindfulness course for children with anxiety
Pause Breath Smile (PBS) is an 8 week mindfulness course to enhance children’s wellbeing and develop skills to manage anxiety. The program is designed for parents and children (8-11 yrs) to attend and learn together.
PBS is run through the Psychology Centre, University of Canterbury. The next course starts Wednesday, 23rd October, 4-5pm (running for 8 weeks).

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
