AMI Community Grants Organisation Finalists!

Fantastic News! Cholmondeley Children's Centre is one of five extremely worthy finalists in the organisation category of the 2018 AMI Community Grants. And we are the only South Island charity in this category! Last year we provided 1403 admissions to 519 children from Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. This is the highest number of children in our 93-year history, and the demand for our service continues to grow. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
