Job Needed

John from Somerfield

Kia ora neighbours,

My name is John Karki and I'm currently looking for a job. I do live in Somerfield and I'm a student and keen to work while I study.

I do have experience in Cleaning, Kitchen hand, Customer Service but I'm very reliable, hardworking, and a fast learner.
I'm open to all kinds of work-hospitality, retail, cleaning, kitchenhand, or anything where I can lend a hand and learn something new.

I am available anytime of day during morning and afternoon, some days evening too.

If you know of any opportunities or need some help yourself, I'd really appreciate it if you could reach out.

Thank you so much!

Kind regards,
John Karki

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
