We are currently looking to increase our pool of available hosts and have students arriving for Term 2.
The period of hosting can be short term (6 months) to 1 year or longer. Hosting can be a very rewarding experience and support and assistance is provided at all times by staff from the International Department.
The hosting fee paid for 2017 is $252 per week.
In 2018 the fee paid will rise to $266 per week.

If it's brown - it will break down.
Look for the ECO symbol and put it in the green bin.
All other packaging goes into the red bin.
The ECO symbol means "Event Compostable Only" – make sure you bin it at the event, and not at home.

I may have missed it, but this sign down at the park is the first I have heard of it. Initial impression is that it is positive, anything to improve the water quality is a good thing, however it fails to address the main cause, the toxic storm water runoff into Haytons Stream.
There will be a large dry storage basin constructed, similar to those off Awatea Drive by the new Wigram sub-division. The pond will be enlarged, increasing the wetland area, though I imagine the water quality will still be to toxic for dogs etc to swim in. What do you think?
