A Midsummer Night's Dream performance, Lincoln High School
Lincoln High School presents 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th of November in the school hall. Tickets $5 from the school office or at the door on the night. Curtain up at 7pm. Show finishes at 8:30.
4 years ago, a wonderful group of rangatahi, now graduated from Lincoln High, put on this play. In a few days, a new crop of Y9s will present their own take on a classic Shakespearean comedy of silliness and love.
If you have children coming to LHS next year, they might be interested in seeing what their slightly older peers are doing in English.

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
30.8% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
69.2% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
