Heading into the Central City?
The Crossing car park on Lichfield Street will be closed from today, re-opening on Monday, to allow construction work to be completed and parking technology to be installed. After that it will become a paid car park offering more than 400 short term carparks. Two new parking options have opened up this week, the Hereford Carpark, near the corner of Colombo St has about 570 parking spaces, and The West End car park, between Hereford and Cashel Street, accessed via Cashel Street, with about 265 short-term public parking spaces.
Visit Parksmart: www.ccc.govt.nz... for central city parking options.
