What’s the most overrated Christmas tradition, in your opinion?
Neighbours, we are looking ahead to December 25th and it's always a busy time.
Each family does things a little different and we'd love to know where you stick to tradition and where you strongly differ. Perhaps there's a tradition that you think is just overrated! Share your thoughts below.
Safety Alert - Maybe??
Please excuse my paranoia as I may easily be overreacting. However something happened this afternoon that hasn’t happened before and given the increased levels of robberies etc that occur at this time I thought it reasonable to alert you all.
We live down a back section in Regents Park. Mid afternoon a well dressed woman knocked on our door. I enquired how I could help and she said she was here to collect some candles. I asked her what address and she gave our address. I asked her who she was collecting them from. There was a vague answer that she didn’t know who. She said the person said it was from Casebrook and that they were making candles. She then quietly walked away. Too late I thought about following her down the drive to see what she did next.
As I said in may be paranoid or overreacting or not but the general vagueness and uncertainty had a sense of her casing our area. Has anyone else experienced this? Be safe. 😀
