Papanui High School Writing Books for Children Weekend Course
Papanui High School still have limited spaces available in our Writing Books for Children and Young Adults Course being held at Papanui High School weekend of 27 & 28 March 10 am - 4 pm both days at a cost of $126.
This course is being taught by Michele McConnochie and will teach you the difference between writing for very young and older children, what publishers and parents look for, how to structure and story and how to create a great character as well as how to get your stories published.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
