Guinea Pigs and cages to give away to new loving home.
Hi all we adopted 2 male guinea pigs (2 years old) from a friend who were moving to England. Initially they had someone to take them but that fell through so we offered to help out. We love them but have found that 2 of my children are allergic to them and I struggle with a hay allergy. We persisted as long as possible (6 months) but have come to the conclusion that they aren't the best pets for us heartbreakingly. We would like to find another loving home for them and are happy to give the outside cage, inside cage, newspapers, tunnel and a bale of hay, free, to help their start with a new family. They squeak and respond to our voices and we have given them cuddles but not as much as we used to. They are really easy to look after. Warning - one does bite when he gets fed up with being held. I'm not sure why but seems to be a 'I've had enough' message. Maybe something happened to him previously. Please email or text if you are interested - nic_mercer007@yahoo.com / 021471485
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
