Long term rental needed. A++ References

Kelly from South New Brighton

A wonderful hard working Mum I work with has just been told the house she thought she’d be renting for the rest of her life has been sold & will be changing ownership in a few days!! This came as a huge shock as the landlord had told her the house was his retirement fund (he’s a long way off retirement) anyway if anyone knows of a 3 bedroom or even 2 bedroom home for long term rental please please contact me. If possible a home on the east side for anything under $450 would be great but anything will be considered. This woman is the perfect tenant, she always pays her rent, has amazing rental references as well as character references from some amazing people & places. Her son is quite unwell so this is an urgent need. Any help or even advice would be appreciated. If you can help I will put you in contact with her. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
