CRAFT SALE - TUESDAY 1ST MAY
Good morning to you all. Aranui Handiscope is happy to say we are holding a 'CRAFT SALE' this coming Tuesday 1st May from 12 noon till 3pm. At St Ambrose Church 309 Breezes Road, where our volunteers and members have got many of their wonderful items up for sale. You need to pop along and see the wonderful range of items going on Sale, some great bargains - especially for Mother's Day - lovely gifts. etc. Our group is for everyone and it has helped many with their stress, lonelyness, axiety, boredom - it given so much to many of our members with gaining new friends , learning new skills. With these new skills they can make items and have on our 'Sales Table' and makes them feel good about themselves.. Our funds raised helps us with our running costs ( items that has been donated to us ) If you have any questions about our group or about our event, please don't hesitate to touch base - happy to answer any questions. Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
