Local body elections
Hey everyone, traditionally local body elections see a rather poor voter turnout but can I issue a heartfelt personal plea for everyone to get involved?
Apart from any other issues, climate disruption is increasingly impacting our communities, with repair/maintenance/insurance costs increasing as adverse and erratic weather events multiply. And science tells us that this is just the beginning.
We need councillors who are there to represent the interests of our entire community - including our young folk and unborn generations. Let's leave our kids with a low-carbon economy and a liveable climate.
