Old School Sharpening

Peter from Hillsborough

The weather is looking good so I will be at Lyttelton Saturday 30 Nov 8am-1pm at Collett's Corner Craft and Treasures Market.
I will be there to sharpen tools scissors, knives.,secateurs ,loppers etc.My stock of old solid English and German hedge shears for sale has been reduced but there are still some beautiful old tools available .I have a large range of cutting Boards and a new range of serving "grazing" platter boards.(the glue I use is from Europe and has been tested and approved for use with food by the US FOOD AND DRUG AUTHORITY)These are made by me from Native Red Beech timber that I purchased from a demolition company in early 1990's.
Apparently it came from a Lyttelton dance hall.We have not had confirmation of the hall yet but it seems it may be the Harbour Board Hall down on the waterfront or a hall that was in Dublin Street between London and Norwich on the East side of Dublin
Please contact me to have tools to be sharpened or you are interested in my wood boards.
I also have a listing under "sharpening" on TRADE ME and more photos and costs of most sharpening are listed
