SUMMER COMMUNITY BOOT SALES...

June Neighbourly Lead from Broomfield - Hei Hei

Community Boot Sales are being held over the summer months at the Quaker Centre (217 Ferry Road - on the corner with Nursery Road).
These car boot sales will be held on the following Saturdays - weather permitting:
• 10th and 17th December 2016;
• 7th, 15th, 22nd and 29th January 2017; and
• 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th February 2017.
Spaces cost $15 per date, or $40 if you book and pay in advance for any 4 Saturdays.
Contact 021 111 6223 if you are interested in having a space. This would be a good fundraising opportunity.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
