This image is the number of medicines sold per month for the last two years where each item cost more than the pharmac charge of $5.
The group was The Green Cross Pharmacy Group who have 330 stores NZ wide .
Take a look and ask yourself is the current Pharmac medicines funding model working or not.
The average per month is 188,462 items spread across the 330 stores equals 571 items sold at a greater cost than $5.00 at each store.

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
