Burnside Primary school awarded by Keep Christchurch Beautiful
Burnside Primary school was recently awarded by Keep Christchurch Beautiful for being part of the programme for 25 years, ever since the inception of the programme.
The citation reads, "Burnside Primary is one of only two schools that have been participants in our Schools Environment Programme every year since its inception in 1994. Burnside Primary will receive one of the first 25-year long service certificates presented, at the end of year schools awards ceremony in November. We applaud Burnside Primary School’s dedication to all things environmental."

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
